Local Ingredients For Local People
At Bells Fish and Chips, supporting local businesses isn’t just a trend for us; it’s how we’ve always done things.
Wherever possible, we source our products and ingredients from trusted suppliers right here in the North East, allowing us to keep investing in the hard-working people in the area we call home.
Our bread buns come from The Edinburgh Bakery in Fence Houses, while our fresh produce is from The Apple Orchard in Houghton-le-Spring. Our tea is supplied by the iconic Ringtons, a much-loved family business, and a selection of our soft drinks comes from Fentimans. If you fancy an ice cream when dining in the restaurant, we’re delighted to be serving Beckleberry’s, an independent family-run business based in Blaydon.
Our fish is supplied by Collins Seafoods, based in Newton Aycliffe, ensuring freshness and reliability, while our potatoes are sourced from G. Crackell of Hartlepool, helping us deliver the perfect chip every time.
By working with local suppliers, we’re not only able to serve the best possible food - we’re also proud to support the businesses and communities that make County Durham and the North East such a special place.
